My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The room had a good size with a nice view over the lake, but it has started showing its age and could use a refresh, especially in the bathrooms. The service was a bit hit or miss, with some staff members being very helpful while others not so much. The location was fantastic, right in the center of Stavanger with easy access to transportation. The dining experience was enjoyable with a fair choice of dishes. The facilities were decent but could use some improvement.

I was a bit disappointed with the extra charge for bringing my dog without prior notice, and the room facing the road behind the hotel was not ideal. The rooms, although functional, felt a bit worn out, and the price was on the higher side. I can't recommend the Business Class room, given my experience.
